No one likes to talk about their credit score and for those of us that have made a few dumb mistakes in life are paying for them for a long time!

For me, I was a dumb college student. Without advising with my parents, I was approached by several companies saying "Show your college ID, get a Credit Card!"

I was sucked in...3 maxed out credit cards with no way of paying them. I was embarrassed to tell my parents so I just put it in the back of my head and let it go.

Now, in the midst of trying to buy a house, I am basically screwed!

I have been on the MyFico forums like crazy, learning tips & tricks on improving my credit score. With all of the abbreviations such as DV, GW, SOL, I was lost at first but I did learn that there is many discrepencies on my credit report. I am working diligently to get the bad removed and within a year, my goal is to up my score immensely and never get into this mess again!
